Summer Safari

Hello all! This was one of my favorite outfits I wore this week. I especially like outfits that I put together on the fly. I don't know why I never paired these together before. Oh and the skirt is from Forever 21 and it was just $6.99!!!

Dodger Spirit

Recently I went to a Dodger's game, and a co-worker told me, "You look cute and all, and I appreciate you wearing Dodger colors, but the heels". I'm sure that there is a certain expected attire to wear when going to a sporting event, but I am who I am, no matter where I am going. So heels at a ball game for me.... it's a yes.

Summer Accessories and the Grilled Cheese Truck.

I've picked up a few items for Spring that I think works for Summer too. Tropical print sandals, cork textured clutch, laced up heels and gold accessories.

Candy Apple Red and Stripes

This outfit was centered around the skirt. I am a sucker for stripes, flared skirts and dresses or skirts with pockets. 3 checks.. I had to get this skirt. A couple of days later I saw the shoes on Lulu's. I don't want to use the word fate regarding clothes, but well.. just look below.

B&W Geo Skirt and D'Orsay Flats

I love a black and white and ensemble. This color combo transcends any season and time, it's just classic. The silhouette of this skirt gives this combo a modern flare (literally). D'Orsay flats are trendy this Spring, so I paired these two toned D'Orsay flats I got from Zoo Shoo for a really good price.

Winter White in Spring

The weatherman said it was going to rain, so I wore this white coat from H&M. While it did not rain, I looked fabulous in my coat, and got a lot of compliments. The best one, "You look like Olivia Pope in that coat". The fact that this coat's cost is under $50, now that's scandalous!

Pastels and Mixed Party Snake Print Pumps

Pastels are the quintessential color of Spring. A great way to wear this trend is to pair two or more pastel colors together. I think of romance , flirtation and fun, when I see a pastel look. For this look, I wanted to be flirty and comfy, so I paired a pink peplum top with mint jeans. The standout piece of this look are the pumps. The mixed colors and snake print are fun and eye catching.
